About the Coach

        Hi, I'm Tracy Nabstedt. I am owner and 1st coach of the Concord Fencing Club.

        I hold Fencing Coaches credentials in Foil, Epee' and Sabre from the United States Fencing Association. I also hold the rank of Moniteur From the U.S. Fencing Coaches Association.

        The Concord Fencing Club is an insured, USFA-sanctioned facility engaged in providing a safe, clean, supportive environment for fencing instruction for youngsters (7 years and up) and adults.

        During the Summer I attend the USFA Coaches College program at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs to further my coaching credentials, or I coach youngsters at the North Country Fencing Camp, where I am co-director.  I try to keep my "hand in" by competing here in the Northeast Division (ME, NH, VT), and I am working my way through the officials ranks.

I am currently serving as Co-Chair of the Executive Committee of our  Northeast Division of the U.S. Fencing Association.

        I try to make my classes fun and friendly to the athlete and non-athlete as well. My classes and my club are female friendly. Fencing is one of those activities where application of brain power and initiative can overcome an opponent of superior strength and stature.
